P&F Update

posted Aug 4, 2017, 11:33 PM by Principal account
Key Points from the 26th July P&F Meeting:
  • We are exploring ways to make it easier for parents to pay for P&F events such as the school disco directly into a bank account, rather than cash
  • The 'P&F community meal program' has been well used to support those in need - thank you! We're looking for volunteers to add some more meals into the freezer in the hall. Please let your class rep know if you are able to help?
  • Soccer goals have been very welcomed by students! Mrs Thompson is talking with the students about whether line markings on the oval still needed now that the soccer goals are in place / and if so, where they should go?
  • We are now looking at installing some netball goals at the right height for students to use at recess and lunch
  • Lego kit for Year 3 to be provided by the P&F
  • The first Robotics club with the P&F funded Robotic kits and the recently arrived Spheros was a great success with 32 children participating and enjoying!
  • Please have your say about swimming lessons in 2018 possibly including a beach program by responding the survey
  • St Dominic's School will have an EARN and LEARN box at Woolies at both Karrinyup and Innaloo - please support our school!
  • School athletics carnival will have another sausage sizzle and cake stall - more information to follow
  • The kindy class are working hard to get things organised for the COLOUR RUN in the second week of term 4!!! More information to follow
