Colour Run - Thank you Kindy!!! To take on such a big event during your first year at the school in conjunction with the Colour Run Committee; we are so grateful you ran this event for the school! To the Kindy parents who banded together with their leaders Michelle and Rachel and the Colourful Committee of Helen, Rebecca, Thelma, May, Steph & Leonie I have never seen such an excited group of kids! The sausage sizzle and drinks after finished off an amazing event! There has even been talk of making this a bi-annual event from the kids. It was truly brilliant, thank you!!!!!

We now need you to return your forms with payment so we can put the money towards some great items for the kids. We are aiming to make $3,000 from the Colour Run as our major fundraiser for the year. We have lots of prizes for the best fundraisers from Years K-2 and 3-6 which we can’t wait to give away! There is also the major prize draw as well for all our supporters.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – We would like to say a huge thank you to Carmel, Helen, Leonie and the Year 4 parents! We made $1,301 on the weekend!! We sold out of sausages and buns and our very resourceful group went and purchased extras and were even selling sausages in bread by the end of the day when we had cleaned Woolworths and Coles out of all their buns! We have made enough money to purchase 3 Tok Tok drums and music stands and the P&F are going to use our extra funds to purchase the Marimba!! Well done. Margaret James our wonderful music teacher is so passionate about teaching the kids music that we want to support her and encourage the kids. Mags lets the kids have a jam session with empty garden bins upside down and other improvised items and these purchases will add to the joy! Did you also realise she writes our school play each year and co-ordinates the music! What a legend, we are so lucky to have her at the school! The kids will be rocking out shortly when the musical items arrive!

Edible Garden – The very talented Mrs Spencer has been growing up a little storm with the kids planting the new seedlings. As you can see from the pics there are beans, tomatoes, herbs, lettuce and strawberries. Our compost bins have also arrived so start saving your food scraps! Without your donations we wouldn’t be able the purchase these for the school, thanks for your support! Click here to see the pictures.

New P&F President – Finally we are looking for a new president to help assist the P&F next year. I will still be there as I love the school and P&F and we have all the events to hand over the notes, we just need someone with a bit of passion for raising funds to benefit the kids. The executive from this year will also be there to back you; it’s up to you how much time you want to put in. If you wanted to start off small there is also room on the executive for you! It’s time for some new blood to come in and I can truly say it’s the best thing I ever did since having the kids. I met so many parents who are now friends by being a part of the P&F and my kids think it’s the coolest job in the world. For more info click here. We are also looking to vote in the new class reps so I hope each class is getting reading. Please come and see me if you have any questions about the role.
