Dear Parents/ Caregivers,

It is fantastic to be back at work after a month-long trip around the north west of our vast state. Ashlee, Thomas, Kate and I all set of on a caravanning adventure that took us all the way to Port Headland through the middle and then back down the coast. It was a fantastic trip, and although I was a long way from our school community, I still managed to meet up with families from our school. I bumped into the Anderson family by the pool in Coral Bay and the Norman family, who are now living in Karratha, in the Karratha McDonalds (It was a rainy day and we needed to find an indoor playground for the kids!). As when all holidays come to an end we are already thinking about the next adventure our little family can take together.

Although it may be a much more distant memory for you, I do hope that everyone had an enjoyable school holiday break and that the first three weeks of school have been happy one’s for you and your children.

I would like to welcome back Fiona and thank here sincerely for stepping into my role at the start of the term. We are so lucky to have such a talented, knowledgeable and caring person back working with us as our Assistant Principal.

Below are several articles written by myself, the staff and our P&F. The articles contain a lot of valuable information, so please try to find the time to read through each one carefully. As well as being able to read the articles here in this email, all articles are published on our school website here, with specific articles also accessible via the title links below.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mums! I am sure your families have something special instore for you on Sunday and that they will show you just how much you mean to them.
Enjoy the weekend ahead and I hope everyone has a wonderful Term 2.

God bless,

Leon Bolding
