St Dominic’s Faction Fun Run Wrap up

Congratulations St Dominic’s!

Today, we held St Dominic’s Faction Fun Run and what a great job you all did! I definitely noticed an across-the-board improvement this year compared to last year, with the great majority of runners being able to run(jog) the entire way.

Students in Year 1, and 2 ran an approximately 1km course, Year 3s and 4s ran 1.5km and our 5s and 6s ran approximately 2km. I was so impressed at the effort, not only by those at the front of the field, but by every single student who completed the course (everyone did!) and thereby earning points towards their overall Faction total.

Thanks to all the St Dom’s teachers for not only helping at the fun run, but for also being so flexible and letting me mess up the timetable for a day – I very much appreciate it. It was also wonderful to see so many keen spectators encouraging and supporting the kids – thanks to you too for making time to come down.

The results were as follows;

  First Second Third Fourth Fifth
