As you may have heard, Fiona Glumac our substantive Assistant Principal and her husband Aaron, are expecting their second child at the end of the year! It is a very exciting time for Fiona and her family, and we can’t wait to hear the news of the baby boy or girl’s arrival later next month. With this exciting new arrival just around the corner, Fiona will be continuing her leave through until the end of 2020.
Jemma Davis, who was appointed to Fiona’s role in an acting capacity this year, and who has done an exceptional job, has made the decision to return to a full-time classroom position next year. I am very grateful to Jemma for taking on this leadership role in 2019 and for the work she has done throughout the year.
Mr Alex Paljetak has been appointed to the Acting Assistant Principal position in 2020. Alex joins us from St Pius X Catholic Primary School, Manning, on a one-year secondment. Alex has all the necessary qualifications required for this position and is very excited about joining our school community in 2020. I look forward to welcoming Alex to our school community and will hopefully have an opportunity to introduce you to him before the end of the school year.
