2019 Interschool Carnival Program of Events
A reminder that training commences tomorrow morning at Scarborough Pool. Training will be every Tuesday and Thursday morning for the next four weeks. All students in Year 3 – 6 are invited to participate, not just those selected for the team. Training commences at 7:30am but it is suggested that students arrive on the pool deck at around 7:20am so that they are ready to start training on time. There is no cost for the coaching session, however, pool entry will need to be paid upon arrival. After training, students should change into their school uniform, the one normally worn on a Tuesday or Thursday, prior to returning to school.
What to bring:
- bathers
- towel
- goggles
- swimming cap
- kick board (if they have one)
- water bottles
- uniform to change into
- a small bag to carry all labelled items (an optional St Dominic’s draw string bag that would be very suitable is available from the uniform shop)
We once again thank the P&F for assisting with the organisation and for providing the funds that have enabled us to enlist the help of two professional swimming coaches this year.
We look forward to seeing lots of students there each morning and to seeing how their hard work pays off at the interschool carnival later this term.
