RESCHEDULED – Mini Vinnies Fundraising Event on Tuesday – Penalty Shootout Competition

Unfortunately, due to the rain today the students remained inside at lunch, which meant the planned Mini Vinnies Fundraiser was unable to go ahead.  With wet weather predicted throughout the week, the decision has been made to reschedule this fun event for Tuesday, 11th May (Week 4).

Next Tuesday, 11th May, the Mini Vinnies team invites students in Year 1 to 6 to participate in an exciting fundraising event.  On this day, during lunch play, students are challenged to try and score a penalty kick against a teacher in goals.  If students successfully score against the teacher, they win a prize (and bragging rights).

Each attempt will require a gold coin donation.  As an outreach group, we have chosen for all the money raised to go towards St Vincent de Paul Emergency Assistance.  This program has helped many Western Australians through the pandemic and bushfires, by providing food, clothing, household goods, help with utilities and referrals, advocacy, friendship and emotional support.

If you would like your child to participate and donate towards this worthy cause, please send them to school with a gold coin donation on Tuesday, 4th May.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
