We are seeking volunteers from our school community that may be able to assist with some library duties. Volunteers would be required to spare a small amount of time to assist with shelving books and general library duties at a time and duration convenient to them. Training would be offered to any parents that may be able to spare some time.
The library volunteers would begin to assist with the duties after completing a short training session. In anticipation we have scheduled a training session at 8:45am on Friday, 5th of April, in the school library. Once the training session has been completed, volunteers are able to go into the library at any time to complete the tasks required.
Becoming a library volunteer is a flexible and non-time consuming role. Our staff and students would benefit greatly from this initiative and would be very appreciative of any time you could spare. Tea and coffee can also be arranged.
