Stations of the Cross Reflective Walk

Last week we had our Stations of the Cross reflection for all students from Pre-Primary to Year 6.  The reflective walk around the oval was guided by artworks and prayers prepared by our Year 4 and 5 students.  Classes gathered around each station to view the artwork and read a reflection and prayer together.  Thank you to Danielle Rimmer and Kasey Wheatley for helping students create these beautiful artworks and prayers.

The Stations of the Cross is a form of prayer in which we remember the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus.  When praying the Stations of the Cross, people reflect and meditate on specific events from Jesus’ last day, moving from one station to the next until they are complete.  This is a prayer commonly prayed on Wednesdays and Fridays during Lent, and on Good Friday.
