Stuart Aubrey, Member for Scarborough Year 6 Visit

On Monday, 23rd August, as part of the Year 6’s learning about government, Stuart Aubrey, member for Scarborough in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly, visited the students to introduce himself, discuss our learning, and field questions. There were also some fairly curly questions from my mother, in absentia, which he handled well.  Stuart stayed for an hour and competed against us in a 19 question online quiz on the topic of Australian government.  Well done to Imogen and Josie for rounding out the top 3 – Stuart himself finished 2nd.  Good times were had by all.  Tom C was winning until the last question: “Did you enjoy your quiz on Australian government?”.  The correct answer was “Yes!” A big thank you to Stuart for taking the time to visit St Dominic’s School.
