Online Parent Teacher Meetings – Week 9 and 10

During Week 9 and 10 of Term 1, St Dominic’s staff will provide time before, during and after school to conduct online Parent Teacher Meetings with all families.  Due to current COVID-19 restrictions meetings are unable to take place face to face at school.

These meeting are an opportunity to partner with you and discuss your child’s social, emotional and academic progress.  An opportunity to celebrate their successes and establish short and long term goals for the year ahead.

We are once again using Microsoft Bookings to organise our Parent Teacher Interview times.  Please follow the steps and notes below to select a suitable day and time to engage with your child’s teacher.

  1. Click on the link located below.
  2. Select the appropriate staff member from the drop down menu.
    • Our MAG teachers in Year 1 and 2, and Year 4 and 5, have prepared their notes collaboratively, so parents should select the teacher of their child’s associate year level, i.e. Year 4 families would select Kasey Wheatley and Year 5 families Danielle Rimmer.
    • Hannah Mearns and Jacky Lisi in Year 3 have also prepared their notes collaboratively and will be available on their respective work days.  So, if a Monday to Wednesday is more suitable, then please select Jacky Lisi from the drop down menu, or if Thursday and Friday are more suitable then select Hannah Mearns.
    • Please note that the following staff members will also be available.  Michelle Martin for STEM, Miriam Peake for Music and Support, and Mary Elder for Sport.  Their available meeting times will be added to the calendar later in the week.
  3. Select any date between Monday, 28th March and Thursday, 7th April.  All other dates will be greyed out and un clickable.
  4. Once a date and time has been selected, families are asked to complete the required questions prior to clicking on the ‘Book’ button at the bottom of the page.
  5. Once booked, families will receive an email confirming the date and time selected, as well as a link to the online Teams meeting.  If required, the email also provides a link that enables you to cancel your selected time and choose an alternative.
  6. When the day and time arrives, families should click on the link provided in the email.  Through Microsoft Teams (either via the app if you have it or on the web) this will provide an opportunity for families to engage online with the teacher via a video call.
  7. A reminder email will automatically be sent 24 hours before your scheduled meeting.
  8. Finally, please remember to be on time, as being late will impact on the next scheduled meeting and you may run the risk of your appointment being cancelled.
