Below are two staffing updates that I would like to share with the school community prior to the end of the term.
Simonette Chiappini – It is with great sadness, that I write to share with the school community, that Simonette has recently made the difficult decision to resign from her Year 1 teaching position at the end of Term 2.
Simonette has brought so much to the St Dominic’s School community over the past six months and will be truly missed by her students, their families and our staff. On behalf of the whole school community, I would like to thank her for the care and dedication she brought to the role and wish her all the very best as she enjoys more time with her family next semester. Luckily, we still have one more week to enjoy her happy personality and kind nature.
The process of finding a replacement has already commenced and once an appointment is made, details will be shared with our Year 1 families and the whole school community.
Hannah Mearns and Jacky Lisi – Next semester, there will be a small change made to the staffing arrangements in our Year 3 classroom. Hannah, who has recently been appointed as the leader of our new 3-Year-Old Kindy program, will be shifting to a one day a week role with the Year 3 class and Jacky will be taking on an extra day. Below is an outline of the teacher structure in Year 3 for the remainder of the 2022 school year.
