On Wednesday 4th June, our Head and Deputy Head Boys and Girls attended the Archbishop’s LifeLink Day Launch for Primary Schools. This was an opportunity to hear from Archbishop Timothy Costelloe and Auxiliary Bishop Donald Sproxton about LifeLink and consider ways that our school can support the work of LifeLink agencies.
Our Year 6 students have been working hard to create information brochures about each of the LifeLink agencies, which will be shared weekly in our eNewsletter.
This year we are supporting LifeLink to help people to be cared for and to help those in need with challenges like homelessness, unemployment, financial hardship, domestic violence and mental health. LifeLink is a charitable organisation in Western Australia that provides promotional and financial support to social service agencies to establish and assist by the Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Perth. This term we will have a number of fundraising opportunities look out for more information about our Walk of Hope, whole school gallery and free dress that will all raise money for LifeLink.
