Congratulations to our very special group of St Dominic’s Year 6 Confirmation candidates, who, as part of St Dominic’s Parish, received the sacrament of Confirmation on Friday night. The special candle procession to commence mass was a beautiful reminder of Gods presence in our lives for all those in attendance.
Thank you to our new parish priest, Fr Bernard, and Archbishop Emeritus Barry Hickey, for leading the celebration.
A special thank you also to our musicians, acolytes, alter servers, Mr Sullivan, Miss Davis and all the boys and girls who joined the choir. It was wonderful to see the younger children supporting our Year 6’s by joining in the choir, many of whom didn’t even have an older brother or system receiving the sacrament. Thank you to everyone involved for making it a holy and special night.
