Containers for Change at St Dominic’s School

You may have recently noticed two new bins appear in our undercover area.  St Dominic’s has signed up as a collection point for the state governments new ‘Containers for Change’ initiative.  Fortnightly the City of Stirling will come and collect the bins, count the containers and then deposit the raised funds into our school bank account.

At St Dominic’s we are always looking for ways to encourage our students to be environmentally aware.  So how can you help?  Encourage your children to collect your eligible containers instead of tossing them in the waste, then drop them into one of the two bins located in our undercover area.  Not only is it great for the environment, but it’s also a great way to support our school.
