Patron Saints Activity Afternoon – Friday, 12th November

On Friday, 12th November, St Dominic’s students and staff will come together to celebrate Patron Saints Day.  This event occurs close to All Saints Day each year here at St Dominic’s and it is a time when we promote and recognise our school faction patron saints; St Catherine of Siena, St Thomas Aquinas, St Rose of Lima and St Vincent Ferrer.

This Friday, we will be acknowledging and celebrating with a fun afternoon of activities for the kids.

After lunch at 2pm, the students will split into their faction groups to engage in a number of fun activities to promote team spirit within their faction.  Some activities involve water so please ensure your child packs a small towel for the day.  Following the activities, we will all enjoy an icy pole together before heading home for the weekend.  Please let your child’s classroom teacher know if you would prefer your child did not receive and icy pole.

On this day students are required to dress in their sports uniform with their faction polo shirt.
