The Kindy and Pre-Primary students will be having their first incursion on Thursday, 21st March. It is called Junk Play (formerly ‘loose parts’). The incursion is a child-directed activity where they bring an abundance of resources and facilitate a play session/s. It will be up to the children as to how they play and what they decide to do with the materials. As well as being a physical activity, the children get very imaginative and creative when they follow their own instincts and desires. They also solve problems, and use communication skills. Above all else, it is a lot of fun.
