On Friday 4th July, our Pre-Primary to Year 6 students participated in a day of activities to celebrate and learn about NAIDOC Week. We started the day with an Acknowledgement of Country and incursion with Belinda from Djirrily Dreaming, followed by a number of activities where students could learn more about bush foods and medicines and First Nations history. They also contributed to a collaborative art piece which can be viewed in the school hall. We finished the day with a reflective liturgy led by our Year 5 and 6 students.
Thank you to all involved in planning our NAIDOC Week activities.
