National Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) Information

The National Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) takes place every year. The NCCD is a collection that counts the number of students at the school who receive an adjustment, or help, due to a disability so that they receive the same access to education as other students.

Each year, as a staff, we dedicate a Tuesday afternoon meeting to moderating our NCCD data so that it’s accurate and to ensure we have the evidence required to justify our thoughts and reasoning. The information that we submit helps teachers, principals, education authorities and governments to better support students with disability at school.

Please find attached a fact sheet if you would like to find out more about the NCCD.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me.
