P&F Update

It was another exciting P&F meeting on Wednesday night with most of the team getting away in time to watch the latest episode of the Batchelor, plus create some fabulous ideas for going forward. We greatly appreciate the time your class reps put in for the school to make it one of the best schools, to include everyone in the community, plus raising funds for the kids.  Click here to see the minutes.

Parents Night – a massive thank you to Anthea who is putting together our first ever whole school parent social night. It is sure to be a fun night with delicious nibbles, great company and a few beverages. Please RSVP to Anthea as soon as possible if you can come for catering numbers. It is also another fantastic fundraiser for the school. Buy your tickets and join the fun! Please email – anthea.toutountzis@gmail.com or book online at https://www.trybooking.com/BELEM.

Athletics Carnival Cake Stall and Sausage Sizzle – thank you to Kathryn and Year 5 for running our sausage sizzle and cake stall for the athletics carnival. A catering form will be coming home shortly, however, we are hoping you will support this fundraiser by baking or buying a treat for the school to sell while you watch the kids run. A roster for each year to man the stall will be going up on the green door outside the office and we would greatly appreciate your time volunteering to help out. Every bit counts. All funds raised will be going towards a DJ on the day as well as a high performance coach to take the school for training to prepare for the Interschool Athletics Carnival.

Father’s Day – Pencil in 8am on the 29 August for our mouth watering egg and bacon rolls to celebrate Father’s Day. Nikola and Pia along with Pre-Primary are currently scouting donations for the raffle as well as the eggs, bacon and buns. Raffle tickets and an order form will be coming home later this month.

Woolworths Earn and Learn – Thank you to everyone who collected tokens for Earn and Learn! The staff chose some fabulous items to benefit the children at school. Click here to see the list of amazing items received.

iPad Chargers – the P&F would like any donations of iPad chargers, the new or old style. The power adapter is a bonus however the USB cables would be of great benefit. Unfortunately, these are accidentally broken by the children when removing the cables from the iPads and any donations would assist teachers in replacing these when they break. Please bring them to the front office or ask your class teacher if they can directly benefit from your donation.

Colour Run – The colour run will be making a very anticipated come back for Term 4 – being our biggest fundraiser of the year. The Year 2 class reps Veronica and Anthea are looking for any donations of prizes we could use to help with fundraising. If you do have an item or voucher to donate please get in contact with the ladies or your class rep. Thank you!
