The PrePrimary, Year 1 and Year 6 classes went on an excursion to Caversham Wildlife Park on Wednesday, 20th October. Â It was such an amazing excursion and enjoyed by all, including the parent helpers and the teachers! Â We saw a farm show and learnt about shearing sheep. Â Mr Bovell even had a go at cracking a whip! Â We got to pat a wombat and hold a snake, we met a koala and had a photo with them, and we learnt about penguins and watched them being fed. Â I think a lot of people’s favourite thing was to feed and pat the kangaroos and their joeys in an open enclosure. Â Thank you to all our parents helpers for volunteering to take a group and supervise the children. Â We are very lucky to have such wonderful helpers in our school community.
