PP, Year 1 and Year 6 Excursion Wrap up

The PrePrimary, Year 1 and Year 6 classes went on an excursion to Caversham Wildlife Park on Wednesday, 20th October.  It was such an amazing excursion and enjoyed by all, including the parent helpers and the teachers!  We saw a farm show and learnt about shearing sheep.  Mr Bovell even had a go at cracking a whip!  We got to pat a wombat and hold a snake, we met a koala and had a photo with them, and we learnt about penguins and watched them being fed.  I think a lot of people’s favourite thing was to feed and pat the kangaroos and their joeys in an open enclosure.  Thank you to all our parents helpers for volunteering to take a group and supervise the children.  We are very lucky to have such wonderful helpers in our school community.
