We are pleased to provide you with the following details regarding the Pre-Primary to Year 6 St John’s First Aid Incursion on Friday the 30th of May. This excursion has been planned to support the Health Curriculum for this term where we have been exploring the emergencies and first aid. Classes will participate in the incursion independently and learn elements of first aid targeted towards their age group.
Activities to be undertaken include:
- Recognising what is and isn’t an emergency
- Recognising a Paramedic
- Principles of First Aid
- Steps of the DRSABCD
- Providing First Aid
Special clothing or other requirements include:
- Students are to wear their grey and white sports uniform for the day.
