On Wednesday, 16th August, St Dominic’s will hold its Faction Athletics Carnival at Yuluma Primary School for Pre-Primary to Year 6.
Please note that as it will be held on a Wednesday, the Kindy students will not be attending the carnival this year.
The event will run similar to last year, with students moving around stations in their year levels. Last year’s carnival was a big success, and we are looking forward to more of the same this year. Let’s hope the rain holds off. There will be music, as well as the world famous P&F Sausage Sizzle and Cake Stall. More information about this will come out as it comes to hand.
Again, we will have Timing Solutions providing us with gates to time student races. Students will be given ribbons for individual races, however, interschool selection as well as individual year level champions, will be based on the results for each event. On the day of the carnival, please do not ask for student times, a link with information on how to access student times post carnival will be sent to all families.
Please note if the weather does not permit the carnival to go ahead on the day, it will be postponed until the following week, Tuesday, 22nd August.
