Stay and Play Afternoon – Tuesday 25th November

Our next Stay and Play Afternoon will take place on Tuesday, 25th November. We invite all families to stay after school until 3:45pm and enjoy the playground and oval space.

Parents are required to accept sole responsibility for supervising your children.  ‘Supervision’ is keeping a direct line of sight to your child, and not browsing a phone or other device.  It means ensuring they behave according to our Code of Conduct and other rules in their play and interactions with other students and parents.  Students know the rules they follow during school hours and we ask you to enforce consistency while you supervise them after hours.

To make this possible, staff have volunteered to support with the supervision. As you know, school staff supervise your children at all times during the school day, including while they use play equipment.  The students understand the rules allowing them and others to enjoy doing so safely and respectfully.  They also know to behave according to the standards set in our School Code of Conduct and Student Code of Conduct. Please note that the role of staff on this occasion is to ensure that school expectations and Codes of Conduct are followed; parents are still expected to maintain full supervision of their children. We ask that you support staff in any directions that they give.

We will have a staff member in the school courtyard area supervising access to the senior toilets which will be accessible to children only. Please note that we do not have adult toilet facilities available. The hall is not to be accessed as OSHClub will be running.

Please ensure that you are heading home promptly at 3:45pm.

We look forward to welcoming you for an afternoon of fun and friendship.
