Swimming Faction Carnival Wrap Up 2020

Firstly, I just wanted to again say a big thank you to all who made the 2020 Swimming Faction Carnival run as efficiently as possible. To the parents for helping with the timing and to the teachers for all playing their roles. No job is bigger than the other, and without your help, the day simply wouldn’t go ahead. Thank you.

To the students, thank you for all of your efforts once again. Whether you came 1st, 4th or 6th in your race, as long as you gave all races your best shot, then that is all we can ask for. A thank you must go to Jake Foster and Olivia Hildebrandt, who did a great job in opening up our carnival with the prayer and welcome to country. Thank you.

Thanks must also go to Chris and Ben at Timing Solutions. They certainly made our jobs a lot easier and took a load off Monique and Peta. A thank you must also go to Claremont Pool for ensuring that everything was set up and ready to go for the carnival. Thank you.

Congratulations to Aquinas on winning the swimming shield with consistent results throughout the day. Congratulations must also go to all of the champion boys and girls. We will acknowledge Champion Boys and Girls, as well as our Interschool Swimming Team, at the Week 7 Friday Assembly (20th March)

Interschool Swimming Team 2020

The following is the Interschool Swim Team for 2020. Please note that I have had to call upon some Year 2 students to fill races in the Year 3 program. The Interschool Swimming Carnival will take place Tuesday on 7th April at HBF Stadium, with a breakfast to follow on the Wednesday 8th April. I will release more details closer to the time of the carnival, including the program of events, travel arrangements and what to bring. To this document, I will name reserves, which will be in red. These students won’t come on the day of the carnival unless they are absolutely required.
