Year 1 Christmas Card Competition Winner

A few weeks ago, the Year One students entered a Christmas card competition, which was being run by the Federal Member for Curtin, Celia Hammond.  The children had to draw what they think is the best thing about Christmas.  One of the Year 1 students was picked as a winner!  Matiar Kaviani drew a beautiful Christmas star which reminds him about Jesus and what goes on top of the Christmas tree.  He was awarded with a framed copy of his drawing, a certificate, copies of the Christmas card and a gift voucher to a bookstore in Claremont.  All Year One students received a certificate of participation and a personalised message from Celia Hammond.  Well done, Year 1’s, and Congratulations Matiar.
