A reminder that our First Reconciliation Parent/ Child Workshop will be on Wednesday, 5th November at 5:30pm in the school hall. All children enrolled to receive the Sacrament this year are required to attend with a parent/ caregiver.
On Friday, 7th November, the Year 3 class will be participating in a spiritual retreat in preparation for their upcoming First Reconciliation. The retreat will be held in the St Dominic’s School Hall. Students will be joined by the Year 3 students from Our Lady of Good Counsel and other parish children who will be receiving the sacrament.
The purpose of the retreat is to allow students to participate in prayer experiences and complete activities to deepen their understanding of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. On the day, students are allowed to wear free dress to school and will require their hat, recess, lunch and water bottle.
