With the 2022 Faction Swimming Carnival upon us, below are a few last minute reminders.
Firstly, in regards to the program, any changes that parents requested since its release, have been updated by Mary over this week.
Put together by Mary and linked below, is an outline of the events and the very approximate times at which they are scheduled. Please note that many factors may contribute to these times changing, which is why we stress that they are only approximate.
As outlined in the previous Swimming Carnival post linked below, there are several changes to the day that parents MUST adhere to during the day. Below is the extract from that post.
COVID-19 Restrictions
To ensure the safety of our community and to enable this years carnival to proceed, the following COVID-19 restrictions have been put in place.

- Upon entry, parents/ caregivers will need to follow all COVID-19 directives in place at Claremont Swimming Pool.
- Parents/ Caregivers are asked NOT to engage with students/ staff during the carnival and MUST remain in the spectator area on the entry side of the pool throughout the day. Families SHOULD NOT sit on the student side of the pool.
- This year students will be sitting in year levels instead of factions.
- Students will not be able to join families at lunchtime and should have everything they require for the day in their bag.
- There will be no teachers vs students vs parents race.
- Families wishing to take their child/ren at the end of the carnival, MUST complete the form linked below. At the conclusion of the presentation ceremony, those students whose families have completed the form will be walked over to the spectator area.
