Some things to note for the day:
- Students will receive a ribbon for the event in which they race. Champion Boy/ Girl will be based on heat times in 50m events excluding Open Butterfly and Open 100m Freestyle. Champion Boy/ Girl medals will be awarded at an assembly back at school later in the week.
- Interschool selection will be based on 50m events, as well as 100m events. 25m events will go towards faction points.
- Students are not allowed to request to be in other races on the day of the carnival. The events in the program are final. I will have the information parents provided on the Microsoft Form available to me on the day to cross check.
- There will be a chief judge adjudicate all races. Students will be taken through this information the day prior to the carnival.
- If you have put your name down to help, I will get in touch with you with information about your role on the day.
- For some of the races, I have had to mix year groups to avoid having only one student in the race. I have spoken to each student who it will impact. Students will be awarded points for their faction and given ribbons according to where they finished in their year level.
- A break for lunch will be had after the kick board races. Students can eat their morning tea throughout the day.
- Families wishing to take their child/ren at the end of the carnival, MUST complete the form linked below. At the conclusion of the presentation ceremony, those students whose families have completed the form will be walked over to the spectator area.
