On Monday the 21st of September, some of our brightest young stars in Year 5 attended the annual Academic All Stars Day, which this year was held at Loreto Primary School in Nedlands. The following Year 5 students represented us on the day – Arya S, Martin S, Andrew E, Jack E, Kari W, Josie M, James D and Mason B.
On the day, students participated in a wide range of activities which included:
- Chess
- Art
- Poetry
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- English
- Drama
- All round general knowledge
Some results on the day included Martin and Josie winning the engineering challenge, Andrew and Mason coming 2nd in chess, and all students combined coming 3rd in the Maths and General Knowledge challenge. Overall, St Dominic’s came 4th on the day with 577 points. A fantastic effort!
We couldn’t be prouder of the way our students represented St Dominic’s and of the effort they put into each of the tasks. We most certainly have some very talented students at our school.
