Year 6 Student Leadership Team Visit to Parliament

On Thursday the 12th of October, the St Dominic’s student leadership team, along with Mr Bovell and Mr Bolding were lucky enough to be invited to the Parliament of Western Australia by Stuart Aubrey, the local state representative for Scarborough.

It was such a special experience, on top of being served up a three course meal of the highest quality, Stuart then. treated the students to a very personal and unique guided tour of the chambers of parliament before facilitating our presence during “Question Time” in the Legislative Assembly. There, Michelle Roberts, speaker of the lower house, announced the presence of and warmly welcomed the student representatives of St Dominic’s Primary School.

We thank Stuart Aubrey for the amazing afternoon.
