St Dominic’s School is excited to announce that our annual talent show, “St Dom’s Got Talent”, is fast approaching! We are looking for dedicated, hard-working, and creative students to get involved.
All students are welcome to audition to take part in this event and can participate individually, with a friend or with a group of friends. Students wishing to participate in the show are required to sign up for an audition on the sheet in their classroom. All types of school appropriate acts are welcome. Students can sing a song, perform a dance routine, tell jokes, create a magic act, develop a skit, show off athletic skills, play an instrument or demonstrate their own particular talent in their very own unique way. All acts must be between two and three minutes in length. Please ensure that any background music is school-appropriate.
Teachers will audition students in their class during Week 5. Unfortunately, due to the number of students auditioning, only three acts from each class will be selected to perform in the show. The show will run in Week 7 on Friday, 2nd September at 1:30pm in the school hall. All families are welcome to come and watch!
There will be one junior and senior school winner. Judging criteria will be based on creativity, originality, organisation/ coordination, personality and overall performance. All teaching staff will vote, and the winner will be announced at the online morning assembly on Monday, 6th September (Week 8).
