As you may be aware, the WA Premier, Mark McGowan, has announced that the Perth, Peel and Southwest regions, will go into a five day hard lockdown commencing at 6:00pm this evening.
This means, amongst other things, that all schools, including St Dominic’s, will be closed to staff and students this week. The week will be viewed as an extension of the school holidays and as such no school work is expected to be completed during this time and all events have been cancelled.
Catholic Education Western Australia is currently in emergency meetings with the Education Department and we are expecting further details later in the day.
We anticipate that the first day of school for 2021 will be Monday, 8th February, however, I will update you regularly throughout the week as new information comes to hand.
