St Dominic’s Faction Cross Country Carnival Wrap up

Congratulations St Dominic’s!

Last Friday, we held St Dominic’s Faction Cross Country Carnival and what a great job by all students!  We were super impressed with the effort shown by each and every one of them and know they all gave their very best.  Giving maximum effort is all we can ask for, so thank you boys and girls.

Before sharing further highlights, I would like to acknowledge the disappointment shared with me on the day by some families in regards to the junior classes races starting earlier then the rough timeline provided in earlier communications.  This feedback was certainly taken onboard and will be acted upon in the future to ensure a similar scenario does not occur again.  I would like to apologise again to those families who were effected by this timing issue.

Thank you to all the St Dominic’s teachers for not only helping on the day, but for also being flexible and letting us mess up their timetable for a day – it is very much appreciated.  It was also wonderful to see so many keen spectators encouraging and supporting the kids – thank you to you too for making time to come down.  Additionally, thank you to the parents who put their hand up to help on the day.  Your assistance does not go unnoticed.  Thank you.

Congratulations to the following students.  These students in Year 3 to 6 will represent St Dominic’s at the Interschool Carnival, which will be held on Monday, 31st May (Term 2, Week 7).  Please note that due to a shortage of girls in Year 4, we may have to call upon Year 3 girls to run in the Interschool Cross Country.
