As we begin this new school year, we reflect on our schools patron saint, St Dominic, a man of great faith, wisdom, and compassion. He founded the Order of Preachers, also known as the Dominicans, in the early 13th century with the goal of spreading the teachings of the Catholic Church and providing education to the people. We strive to continue to emulate St Dominic’s example by providing a high-quality education and fostering a strong sense of community and faith.
I would like to extend a special welcome to our new families and staff members who have joined the St Dominic’s School community this year. Starting at a new school can be both exciting and challenging, and we are honoured that you have chosen St Dominic’s School as your new home. Our community is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
