As Term 2 marches on, we progress excitingly closer to the commencement of our Stage 9 Building works. If you missed Update #1, which outlined our school’s Master Capital Development Plan as well as the Stage 9 work taking place in 2021, please click on the link below.
The finer details of our building plans are now complete and the expression of interest window for potential builders has closed. Tendering on the project will begin shortly, with a successful company awarded the contract in the coming weeks. The tendering process is conducted by Paterson Group Architects in consultation with ourselves and the Capital Develpment Team at Catholic Education Western Australian.
Construction is still set to commence during the Term 2 holiday break, with all work scheduled to be completed prior to the start of the 2022 school year. As was previously shared, our Kindy, Pre Primary and Year 1 classrooms will be set up and ready to go in their new locations at the start of Term 3.
Patterson Group Architects have recently provided us with some internal and external imagery, which I have attached below. These images depict what some of the projects will look like upon completion.

Hopefully the imagery above has given you a glimpse of the vision we are working towards and the transformation that is about to take place in our Early Years teaching and learning spaces.
To hopefully address and answer questions the community may have in regards to the upcoming building program, we have continued to regularly update our ‘Stage 9 Building Project Frequently Asked Questions’ page, which can be accessed via the link below. I will also continue to provide regular updates on the project as we move closer to the start date and throughout the second half of the year.
With only a month and a half to go before construction starts, we are all extremely excited about the journey we are about to embark on as a school community!
